Thesis statement

The importance of reggae music wasn’t just about how their lyrics went along with the beat. It was to uplift the people’s spirit in a difficult period of Jamaican society and to send a message to the government that the people want a better life, but it seems as the years go by the messages became something different from what it used to be.

My thesis question for my project essay is What is the importance of reggae music.

We are doing a documentary about the 5 boroughs and it history and
possible do a scrap book and by the way I'm working with Stephanie.
> 2. why did you choose to do it.
Because we wanted to know the history about New York the different boroughs.
> 3.what do you need to do it.
We need a video camera and we going to get a $7 metro card to go to
the different boroughs.
> 4. How long do you think its going to take to finish your project.

Project Questions

Where were they born? what music do they listen to? what was they doing before they got into reggae music? what made them decide to get into reggae music?
These questions are important to me because i like these artist musics and i would like to know more about them.

What i need to do

1. make a list of the of the artists that I'm going to research about.
2. research informations about the artist that i had chose.
3. write about these artists individually.
4. create a cover page.
5. make a CD cover.
6. search for songs from each artist.

My name is Kimani Harley and I'm here to introduce my project to you. the project will be about the history. i will be doing a research on a couple of reggae artist about their lives as an reggae artist. artist like Robert nest Marley (Bob Marley) Buju Banton Vybz Kartel and more.
